St Pancreas Chambers

St Pancras Chambers is currently undergoing a £100 million programme of restoration and refurbishment. London & Continental railways is working with Manhattan Loft Corporation to regenerate St Pancras Chambers into a 5 Star Renaissance Marriott Hotel with 244 bedrooms, 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a health & leisure centre, a ballroom, 20 meeting and function rooms and 67 private apartment and penthouses. This is a huge project that will impact on visitors to London, residents and commuters alike. This exciting project is due for completion in 2010 and so far is on schedule.

We have been involved with the project for 24 months and provided over 50+ staff working in the following positions: CSCS Labourers - Advanced Scaffolders. This project illustrates Octain's capability of providing qualified and capable staff which we have often had to do at short notice.

Homerton Station

This is a typical project for Octain, rail infrastructure has become a growing area of our business as we continue to work with some of the prominent names in the industry.

Walbrook, Cannon Street

Internationally renowned architects Foster & Partners have designed the new building with a principal entrance to the offices set for Walbrook just south of the Mansion House. The project which comprises the redevelopment of three Minerva properties, St Swithin's House, Granite House & Walbrook House, is equidistant from Bank and Cannon Street stations. This scheme will provide some 410,000 sq ft of air conditioned offices incorporating trading floors. Retail and restaurant accommodation amounting to 35,000 sq ft will be located along the 50 metre Cannon Street frontage directly opposite the main entrance to Cannon Street Station.

As the illustration shows this was a complex and complicated job requiring great attention to detail and the highest of health and safety standards. Octain's staff always observes health & safety issues with great care and consideration.

Brighton Family Court

Octain Recruitment are always involved with a great variety of projects; some of them are extensive and some are more modest. This is an example of fully boarded and netted scaffolding and just shows one of the niche specialism's we offer.

Our portfolio of candidates is vast and it is a regular occurrence for us to provide dozens of workers for a particular project. Although we are extremely flexible and are capable of providing the exact number of staff that a client needs no matter how few or many needed.

Basingstoke Renal Unit

This project gives you an idea of the quality of the work we undertake on behalf of our many clients, with the pictures giving you a clear before and after impression of the project. This unit was formerly a distribution warehouse on The Ringway Centre Business Park in Basingstoke. The Basingstoke Renal Unit was a fit-out contract and Octain provided a number of staff in order to meet the completion date. This was another success story for Octain and the project was delivered on time and in budget.
